A few days ago, I had my 31st birthday. Yey! Another year to be grateful for, a year to work on dreams, happiness, and love.
I celebrated it with relatives, workmates, and friends. Not everyone was invited though considering social distancing rules and other restrictions. To those I missed, I’m sorry. It was a fun night despite being a quarantine birthday. Evidently, it’s one night that I forgot about the coronavirus and other problems in the world ha. Another reason that I’m thankful for- a short break from reality.
After dinner, there was more catching up which involved drinks with my long time friends. These friends I haven’t seen for months because of the quarantine. And although the future is unknown, it was nice to reminisce about the past with people who knew me from that time. Most of our conversations are filled with laughter which is always expected every time we hang out.
Overall, I felt loved on my birthday which is the most important thing. Friends and relatives who greeted me sent messages on social media, aunts, uncles, and cousins who actually helped me set up my dinner party made my day special. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.
I had three cakes which means three candles to blow which means three wishes. The very first one I wished for was for this coronavirus to be over soon through a vaccine or a cure. Let’s all hope and pray for that day to come. I will not tell you my other wishes. What I will share is if they will come true in my next year’s birthday post. So, keep updated for that.
Let’s all stay positive and strong! Keep yourself safe and healthy, everyone!
