Thailand is one of the top tourist destinations in the world. According to Thailand’s tourist statistics, the first quarter of 2017 saw the arrival of 9,194,057 tourists, which was a modest increase of 1.72% compared to the previous year with 9,038,893 arrivals.

Unsurprisingly, Thailand remains to be a beautiful country full of majestic natural sceneries with friendly people. Thailand is known as the “Land of Smiles” for a reason. Radiant white-sand beaches are the top to-go places for visitors especially in the provinces of Phuket and Krabi. These provinces alone hold a number of smaller islands that will mesmerize anybody who will get a glimpse.

Traveling all of Thailand’s popular destinations will take weeks or months. However, as visitors you can always choose your own destinations depending on what they prefer to see. If you want to sunbathe and to experience water activities, the Southern part will be perfect for them. For those who enjoy hiking, camping or spending their holiday in the mountains, the Northern part of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai will be the best choice. Bangkok will be an example of a city that never sleeps with activities that are available 24/7.

2. Asiatique The Riverfront

It is a large open-air mall in Bangkok. There are different shops, restaurants, spas, and rides in Asiatique. It faces the Chao Phraya River so an option to reach the mall is through a free shuttle boat ride.

Being free means that queues could be long and waiting time takes between 15-30 minutes. Another option is taking a private boat instead and it’s on the same pier. The fare is 30 THB if you don’t like waiting too long.
